you are enjoying a nice quiet little blog surf and all of the sudden someone's playlist autostarts and scares the methane out of you because you had your speakers turned up way too loud the night before listening to your own music and forgot to turn them down. Maybe it's just me but I think it takes a pretty great autostarting playlist to be better than none at all.
After being the victim of yet another unexpected melody tonight I have decided to join in with all the playlist perveyors and get in on a bit of payback (hey that's only one skinny letter away from playback) with my own hastily chosen and partially plagarized playlist.
Don't you also hate it when you can't find where they've hidden the player in their blog and you're frantically scrolling and searching for it to pause it because just reaching and turning down your speakers would somehow mean that they won.
By the way mine is at the very bottom. Feel free to pop down and shut it off if you haven't already.
Update Feb. 11
I have now disabled the autostart so... it won't anymore.

Such a funny post! You are right though. It is always startling to hear that music begin. Nice playlist. Very calming! :)
I love playlists! Someone else does the work, and I get to listen. Thanks :)
I like playlists but they bug when you are already listening to music and then they start up and you get more than one song playing at the same time.
Herb Alpert - saweeet! And I'm lovin' the Sunrise song with Hall and Oats in the background. Timbaland - all the way. I always did appreciate your taste in music.

Wow, four comments in one day. If I'd have known that would happen I would have put up a playlist years ago. Thanks for all your kind words everyone.
In the near future I plan to change my playlist so that it doesn't autostart. It will just be waiting there at the bottom of my blog for anyone who might want to listen. I will also change some or all of the songs now and then so it won't always be the same old list. Thanks for stopping by listening.
Tanis and Marlan - Thanks for always being there with a comment. Even though I don't always reply your words are always very much appreciated.
Ray - Yeah, I hate it when that happens too. Although part of me is always amazed that the speakers are able to play two songs from different sources simultaneously just as easily as they play just one. Also, I actually stole the first song on my playlist from Lonnie's playlist. (She is Krissy's sister right?) I really liked the song (Walking in the Air) and decided making my own playlist and copying it there would be the easiest way to listen to it whenever I wanted. So although I've often considered adding a playlist to my blog, Lonnie is ultimately responsible for making it finally happen I guess.
Russ - I recently rediscovered "Sunrise" and realized it is a very great tune that stands the test of time. It's always good to hear someone alse shares your tastes. Thanks for mentioning it.
Lonnie will be excited to know that her playlist was so influential.
