I have driven, walked, biked, motorcycled and rental scootered past the Kilmorey Lodge many times but I had never actually set foot inside it. I had always hoped to someday stay for a night as I had heard of it's great reputation and it always seemed like such a cozy and inviting place. It's a shame to lose such a lovely lodge but hopefully the owners will be able to rebuild something just as nice in that same spot.
In other news, apparently the US got a new president today.
For the sake of the country I wish him all the best with his new challenge.
I also had my new poster ready just in case they asked me to take over but surprisingly they never called.
Maybe next time.

You should turn that picture into an enormous, over-sized poster and hang it over your fireplace...or at least over your tv and then turn it to that channel that looks like a fireplace.
P.S.-- I voted for the other guy but I'll cheer for him if he can turn this mess around.
P.S.S.- ...and so sorry to hear about the lodge. I would've liked to have had a chance to stay there (now there's a tough sentence to translate).
Just to be clear Ray, I'm not saying that I did or would have voted for Obama. I'm just wishing him well because he is the new president. That's all.

Well thanks for the info on the Lodge. I heard that they had amazing food there. I was just telling Shane how fun it would be to go up there for lunch or supper just for a change. Well I guess this will help us stay home and eat at home. Thanks again I can't believe I didn't hear about it before I read your blog. You can become our own Anderson Cooper.
